Legacy of Care Psychology Services (LOC) is a non for profit psychology service that will be offered to all current and retired Police officers in treating PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder).

It is a psychology service independent to Police, keeping the privacy of the individual while offering the appropriate psychology service in a timely manner at no financial cost to the treated member. 

This organization was co-founded by Monique Rodger (Registered Psychologist) and Shane Donaldson (Retired Police Veteran). They both have a passion for helping others. Through friends and work colleagues they identified a gap in psychological services offered to Police members when dealing with PTSD. 

Victoria Police members on average will attend over 20 severe trauma scenes within their policing career. LOC promotes seeking psychology services to help understand and treat PTSD while maintaining strict privacy from the workplace. 

Monique and Shane have formed a board, where all members have excelled in their areas of employment. As a collective their goal is to obtain funding and have this service available to all current and retired Police members in 2024.
